Old Papers
photo: paul bernhard and arve ullebø
The man is entering the space carrying a huge bag.
He takes a chair, sits down and opens the bag. The bag is full of papers.
He takes some papers and starts to read aloud and/or tell about the contents.
The woman comes forward, takes the papers and starts to tape these on his body.
More and more papers are read and taped till the man is covered from top till toe with papers.
6 helpers come to carry the man away and put him in the elevator.
Performed in cooperation with visual artist Gillian Carson in January 2011 at NeverOrNow festival in Bergen Kjött, Norway, organized by Agnes Nedregard.
